My own personal
interest in the Mental and Emotional Coefficient came about
in the early 1990's when I was trying to find a way to resolve
why two children born at the same time in the same delivery
room could have such vastly different energies and lives. My
questions were aimed at trying to justify the predictive abilities
of astrology and my somewhat erroneous logic based expectation
that two identical astrological charts should generate two relatively
similar people. Since they didn't, something else was at play
here and I was looking for a solution to resolve it.
The missing
link finally appeared when a new friend appeared and told me
about the work of Dr. Oscar Brunler. After I located material
which described his research, I finally received the answers
that resolved my questions thus allowing me to utilize the resulting
revelations for many years thereafter. And now, these revelations
and the direction they took me are being shared with you in
my Mental Emotional Balancing Program.
Background
In the early
1900's, the ability to measure radiating waves emanating from
a person's mental field was discovered by a Frenchman by the
name of Dr. Maurice Bovis. The measurement was called the Brain
Radiation or mental radiation. Bovis developed an instrument
called a Biometer which helped him to more accurately measure
these radiations in what were called "degrees biometric."
By the time Dr. Brunler and Dr. Bovis met, the Biometer had
been refined such that it could measure the health of various
organs within the human body by measuring the "radiation"
from a person's fingertips. Dr. Brunler and Dr. Bovis measured
over 30,000 people in Europe and continued to perfect the instrument
and refine their ability to do "measurements."
Dr. Oscar
Brunler learned through his own investigation that this measurement
was that of the comprehension of understanding possessed by
an individual. It basically measured an individual's capability
of pulling together both sides of the neocortex (the new brain)
to combine both rational logical thought with intuitive understanding
and come up with a measure of true knowledge.
After years
of research and after interviewing thousands of people and also
through examining the brain radiations of those of great genius
but who were no longer living, Dr. Brunler formulated the Brunler
Scale. This scale is truly a Scale of the movement of Consciousness
and fits beautifully into other theories and classification
systems thus helping to correlate human consciousness with the
evolution of consciousness in general.
The Brunler
Research Foundation
After creating
the Brunler Scale, Dr. Brunler moved to the United States and
formed the Brunler Research Foundation with his wife Grace and
two associates, Roland and Viola Pettit-Neal. By 1951, Dr. Brunler
was suffering from health problems and allowed the Neals to
move forward to set up their own foundation while he moved back
home to do private research.
Before Dr.
Brunler died in 1952, he had collaborated with Arthur Young
and Dr. Brunler's Scale was found to mesh perfectly with Young's
own Theory Of Process, a consciousness classification system
with a solid scientific foundation. It was because of both Dr.
Brunler's work and Arthur Young's expanded system that I came
up with my own cosmology and ultimately the wireframe model
of "The Mother's Temple" which will be shared in Step
5 of our Tara Reiki 5 Step Process.
The Biometric
Research Foundation
In 1950,
the Neals formed the Biometric Research Foundation in Beverly
Hills, California and came up with the same need to resolve
a similar issue that I had. They found that two people with
the same Brain Radiation measurement could perform at widely
different levels of ability. They desired to figure out why
this could be and their conclusion helped me to resolve my original
astrologically related question.
Their research
led them to discover a 2nd measurement that accompanied Dr.
Brunler's original Mental Intuitive scale reading. This led
to the identification of the Emotional Coefficient as the factor
which determined the variation in the level of performance,
or the extent of an individual's use of their mental intuitive
capacity.
Once the
Emotional Coefficient was identified, the Neals realized that
the Mental Coefficient represented only a person's potential
ability - not their actual use of it. They discovered that for
an individual to utilize his or her full potential capacity,
their Emotional Coefficient should measure 1/10th of their Mental
Coefficient number. Thus someone measuring 400 on Dr. Brunler's
Mental Intuitive Scale should posses an Emotional Coefficient
of 40 to be able to function completely at their 400 level.
After considerable research, they also discovered that 99% of
all people operated at Emotional Coefficient levels that were
substantially below their Mental Intuitive levels. In their
early years of research, they only found 7 people who were perfectly
balanced (whose Emotional number equaled 1/10 of their Mental
Intuitive number). In addition, these perfectly balanced people
possessed incredibly high Mental Intuitive numbers. It was thus
found that natural balance was bestowed only upon a few who
also had acquired incredibly high levels of perception. It could
thus be concluded and safe to say that in general and with few
exceptions (the rare geniuses of the world), normal people
are without a doubt out of balance.
As the Neals
worked on further classification of the Mental Intuitive and
Emotional Scale combinations, they also began experimenting
with ways to bring the Emotional Coefficient up in value. Eventually
a process was discovered that permanently raised the Emotional
Coefficient to its proper level. The process was discovered
by Mrs. Neal while she was visiting a monastery in Lebanon in
the Mt. Sinai area. At the Monastery of St. Catherine, she was
shown three symbols by the monks who lived there and was told
that Pythagoras used them in his Mystery School. Apparently
Pythagoras required that his students study these three simple
geometric forms in a particular order for a period of seven
years straight.
The Neals
incorporated this meditation exercise into their practice and
found that it not only raised the Emotional Coefficient to its
proper level, but it also allowed participants to permanently
lock their two Coefficients together so they could maintain
these levels of perception and accomplishment without the need
to continue the meditations. Once the Emotional Coefficient
was 1/10th of the Mental Intuitive Coefficient, both numbers
seemed to lock and start climbing together until the Mental
Intuitive Coefficient was up three points above its initial
measurement. At that time, the daily meditations could be discontinued
and the participant permanently owned his or her levels.
It is estimated
that over 25 years, nearly 10,000 people were measured by the
Neals as they perfected their "Balancing Program."
During that time, it was necessary for participants to visit
the Foundation every three weeks, first to be measured and counseled
and then to verify their progress as they moved up the Emotional
Coefficient scale.
The Neals
found that without the regular checkup, however, few people
completed the meditation exercise that formed the foundation
of their program. As a result, generally people who lived near
their Beverly Hills office were the ones able to continue to
the end of the program and become "Balanced." The
others lacked the motivation to do the daily exercises on their
own without fail.
Walter
and Marta Burleigh
Around 1951,
two other associates, Walter and Marta Burleigh had joined with
the Neals in their exploration of Dr. Brunler's system. Even
though they were originally measured by Dr. Brunler, they continued
on with the Neals once Dr. Brunler parted ways and received
their training to perform the measurements of the Mental and
Emotional Coefficients while working with the Neals. Walter
studied and worked with Roland Neal for over three years before
leaving in 1954 to Washington, D.C. Roland Neal died about a
year after the Burleighs left and Viola continued The Balancing
Program until the late 1970's when she retired. She died in
1981.
In 1978,
Walter and Marta retired to Tucson, Arizona and began resurrecting
the Neal's Balancing Program. The Burleigh's developed a method
to work with people all over the world without the need to appear
in person for measurements. By the time Walter died in 1989,
the Program included participants all over the world and several
thousand more people became Balanced and Locked. After Walter's
death, Marta continued the Program until her retirement inn
1994. Finally, in 1999 she died.
I had my
original measurements provided by Marta Burleigh in the early
1990's. I was also fortunate to know a number of her Program
participants and was able to compare notes and relate my own
experiences with theirs. We all concluded that it was inherently
wrong to give another person a measurement for something so
personal and exacting as their ability to perceive into the
universe and their ability to do something about it. If the
person doing the measurements was incorrect, a person's entire
life could be erroneously mislead. Even though the work of Dr.
Brunler and the Neals had resulted in some incredible research
findings that realistically explained a lot about life, I felt
that each individual should have been allowed to determine his
or her own measurements.
My approach
was to allow a person to participate in the Balancing Program
long enough so that they were able to examine their own lives
and truly discover their place on the Scale. Once they understood
the Scale well enough they would be the best judges of their
own levels. With this goal in mind, I became focused on teaching
others about the Mental Intuitive Coefficient, the Emotional
Coefficient and the Reactionary Coefficient. To provide a proper
background and to make sure the daily meditations were done
without fail, I created a support system to help others make
it through each and every month during the required participation
period (which is now 18 months).
The Mental
Emotional Balancing Program
In October
of 2001, I released the first formal structure of today's replacement
for the old "balancing program." So much has changed
over the last 10 years as the Information Age ushered in a new
period of rapid change. In 1951, it was found that a person
could move up as many as 3 points on the Brunler Scale in one
lifetime. By the 1980's this potential for increase had risen
to around 20 points. By the early 1990's, it was around 50 points
and today it is somewhere between 60 and 100 points. The friend
that had introduced me to the original Balancing Program had
risen over 100 points on the scale and this was confirmed by
Marta Burleigh in the early 1990s. He was definitely an exception
but an early indication of the vast movement of consciousness
that would begin expanding at the beginning of the 21st Century.
Today there
is no question that this kind of movement is possible (60 to
100 points). The main difficulty, however, is to get busy active
people to commit to the 15 minute daily mediations each and
every day for 18 straight months. That is the focus of our new
Mental Emotional Balancing Program. By adding the monthly
Reiki Empowerment Process and by adding accupressure techniques
to the Balancing Program symbols, the efficiency and expected
success rate of our new Program has been vastly improved over
the older one.
And . .
. each participant is allowed the space to become an intimate
part of their own experience without the risk of someone giving
them an inaccurate and potentially life damaging reading. Dr.
Brunler, the Neals and the Burleighs all performed a great service
for humanity, but how many people received inaccurate readings
that may have discouraged them rather than encouraged them to
increase their ability to perform and become who they truly
came here to become? Our new program is a perfect answer for
these concerns and the research gained from our predecessors
now becomes our bank of knowledge upon which to draw faith that
this process indeed works.
I invite
you to join us in this new and exciting expansion of Dr. Brunler's
original Brain Radiation Scale Program and the research provided
by the Neals and the Burleighs. A whole new era has opened up
to considerably expand the wonderful results of the original
Balancing Program. And, there is no better time than today when
world change and unrest almost requires that each and every
one of us becomes balanced so we can not only cope but so we
can also turn this rapid change into a multitude of opportunities
for the expansion and evolution of consciousness.
