The Scale Of Consciousness

FINDING YOUR POSITION ON THE SCALE OF CONSCIOUSNESS

The human energy field is the manifestation of universal energy that is intimately involved with human life. It can be described as a luminous body that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body while emitting its own characteristic form of radiation.

BRAIN SCALE ANALYSIS

Through my research I have come across a method for measuring an individual’s position on the scale of the Hierarchy of Human Needs. It was originally developed by Dr. Oscar Brunler and refined over many years up until his death in 1952. The measurement involved the interpretation of the intensity of brain waves which emanated from an individual’s electromagnetic energy field.

The ability to measure these radiating waves was originally discovered by a Frenchman by the name of Bovis in the early 1900's. He developed an instrument called a Biometer for the measurement of this radiation which was measured in "degrees biometric".

Dr. Brunler learned that this measurement was, in fact, a measurement of the comprehension or understanding of the individual. It was called the Brain Radiation number. After years of research, including interviews with thousands of people, Dr. Brunler created the Brunler Scale or classification which has been the foundation for subsequent research.

Brunler's concept of sequential development over many lifetimes, first of the physical organism (sensation), then of feeling and intuition, followed by logic with the suppression of feeling, followed in turn by will, makes more sense than even Jung's theory which requires that all of these functions were developed in one lifetime. Also very impressive was Brunler's finding that before the self can manifest the creative genius of the great painters, composers, and spiritual leaders, it has to go through lifetimes of heightened sensitivity, exemplified in clairvoyance or other functioning as a passive or sensitive "medium"; such were the great performers, especially in music, where the creative role is contributed by the composer and its rendition by the performer.

Early in 1950, several people worked with Dr. Brunler and expanded his research through the development of The Balancing Program. Roland Neal, Dr. Viola Pettit-Neal, Walter Burleigh and Marta Burleigh carried on with Dr. Brunler's work after his death in 1952. The Biometric Research Foundation was formed by Roland and Viola Neal around that time.

Starting with the Brain Radiation measurements that were developed by Dr. Brunler, further research lead to the identification of an Emotional Coefficient - a factor which determined the variation in the level of performance, or the extent of an individual's use of their mental capacity. The name of Brunler's measurement was also modified and referred to as the Mental Potential number and the Mental Potential scale.

The Mental Potential measurement had been found to lie between 200 and 500 on the Biometric scale for most individuals. With the identification of the Emotional Coefficient, the Neal's found that, for an individual to use their full potential capacity, their Emotional Coefficient should be equal to 1/10th of their Mental Potential number. After considerable research, it was found that the level of performance for 99% of the people studied was very, very low. In the first years of research, only 7 people were found who were perfectly balanced (where their emotional coefficient was equal to 1/10th of their mental coefficient). All of them were internationally known and recognized for their accomplishments.

After identification of the Emotional Coefficient, the Neals discovered a meditation technique that would bring the Emotional Coefficient into balance with the Mental Potential level. In the next 25 years, nearly 10,000 people went to the Biometric Research Foundation and utilized this technique to get balanced. After the death of the founders of the Balancing Program, no one continued the activity until revived in the early 1980's by Walter and Marta Burleigh. Walter died in 1989 and Marta Burleigh died in 1999 after retiring from helping several thousand students become Balanced and Locked.

THE MENTAL EMOTIONAL RECOVERY PROGRAM

Our Mental Emotional Recovery Program is a process and technique designed to balance the mental and emotional energies of the individual to enable them to operate at their most effective level. We have vastly expanded the original The Balancing Program with the introduction of our Mental Emotional Recovery Program and have made it the 3rd Step of our Gayatri Reiki 3 level curriculum and an extension and expansion of Mikao Usui's Reiki. If you would like more information about the Mental Emotional Recovery Prrogram, please check out the following web page:
